Environmental Graphics & Spatial Design for Ratnaakar Builders

The Ratnaakar Builders corporate office is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This is a project where the environmental design for the interior spaces of the corporate office was done in a manner that brings alive the brand Ratnaakar, their values, their brand elements and their aesthetics.

Using a colour palette inspired by the actual buildings in construction, we have created a set of large size art prints for walls of the executive cabins. The treatment of the photographs, the proportions of the colours in the palette, is a metaphor for the might, strength and robustness of the structures as well as that of brand Ratnaakar. The composition is an interplay of geometric forms, negative spaces, light and shadow. Using experimental typography with geometric forms, an abstract version of the brand name itself was created as the installation design for the reception wall, spanning two floors.
